Every independents nation has a flag of its own. This is the symbol of self-government of motherland. Bangladesh national flag was designed by Mr. Kamrul Hasan. There are two colors in our flag; one of the fusion green other is red. The background of the flag is fusion green, Is the represents of the land of Bangladesh & the red circle is symbol of rising sun and sacrifice of lives in our freedom fight. The shape is rectangular, having a ratio of 5:3. It is different size according to use. 2nd of March 1971was first hoisted the national flag by A.S.M. Abdur Rab, The Vice President of Student’s Union, and Dhaka University. We are proud of this when Mr. A.S.M. Abdur Rab hoisted the flag Dhaka University Campus.
